This year was my first in about three years that I wasn't sick for Halloween, so I went all out as a Greek goddess. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures from Friday when I was dressed up... but I assure you, it was a pretty good costume if I do say so myself! Did you dress up?

I had the greatest Halloween ever... there wasn't any costumes, and not really any candy but my boyfriend Jordan spent the entire afternoon with me, and it was fantastic! A perfect day was muchly needed ♥

So... maybe not the most photogenic couple, but it makes me smile :]

Winter is coming!

Well at least here, Winter is definitely on the way! Where I live, we have snow about eight months out of the year, and it's already started. Although I love skating, snowmen, hot starbucks drinks, flannel jammies and Christmas, I hate the cold! In fact, I think the only thing I like about the cold, are the winter-staple clothes that come with it!Say what you want (yes, I have heard the UGGly joke many times) but I love my Uggs! They are so warm and I was very excited when I could wear them during the first snow fall this week! (PS Meghan... I think I found your sock in one. BUSTED)
MITTENS! I love mittens, especially purple knitted ones with fleece on the inside! (I always find them at sport stores, but never buy them because I always ask for them for Christmas... funny thing is, I always end up getting the wrong kind of mittens!) So this year, Jordan and I are going mitten shopping and I am finally going to get my favorite ones. I can't wait ♥

I love black peacoats! I have had mine from Old Navy for years and I still wear it every season.

Wishlist.

I think I must be at a big changing part in my life. Lately I've been crazy about changing my hair and doing different things with makeup, as well as trying to be a lot healthier. (Which I must say I'm pretty proud of myself about - so far I have lost about 50 lbs since my weight-loss journey began, which means I am over half way!)
Anyway, as a result of my recent girly over-drive, I have a new wish list!

Last step after make up routine, a couple sprays on your face apparently gives you an amazing airbrush finish, regardless of what type of makeup you used underneath. I've heard really good reviews on it.

I've heard really great things about this line of lipgloss. I have a lot of redness in my skin and I feel like whenever I wear anything on my lips it is hard for me to find one that doesn't bring out the redness and make it look like I have a rash around my mouth. I hear this lip gloss is great and has enough gold undertones that it shouldn't do that; I guess we'll see!

My sister Meghan has some of this and she let me try it once when she first got it. Like I said, I have always had a lot of redness in my skin, and this was so nice for covering that!
Kat Von D True Romance Eye Palette at Sephora
I watched a video review on some Sephora product lines, and didn't hear a single bad one about Kat Von D's eyeshadow palettes. Apparently, they are comparable, if not better, to MAC eyeshadows at a better price. Plus my favorite colours right now are purple and gold!
Love Etc. Perfume from The Body Shop
I already have some of this, and is my absolute FAVORITE perfume ever. The smell is soo good, but I don't really know how to explain it... it is sweet, but not overly like candy perfumes. I am not really sure... but I get compliments on the way I smell all the time. The bottle I have is almost empty :[
