Review: Shower Jellies

A little while ago, I purchased this Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly from Lush!

Sweet and sophisticated fruitiness. Lashings of blackcurrant and bergamot
essential oils in a sour cherry and coconut jelly make this about as fruity as
you can get. It is incredibly difficult to resist taking a spoonful. Instead,
take a handful and smooth it over your hair and body. Passing strangers will
smell you and find their minds wandering to fruit pastilles.

How to use:
Shower jellies are one of our most
innovative products and there are many fun ways to use them. You can crush them
into a shower pouf to create a rich lather or rub them directly on your body.
Try freezing (or chilling) them for an especially cool, refreshing shower or
bath experience. Shower jellies also make great shampoos and add lots of
softness and shine to hair.

Available in two different sized jars
100g ($5.95 CAN)
240g ($10.95 CAN)

*Smells like black cherry pop (yum!)
*Easy, frothy lather
*Doesn't leave your skin covered in sparkles
*Less than half a teaspoon is enough for entire body

Overall, I definitely recommend this product
if you love sweet smells. It's one of my new favourites! I just wish the smell lasted a little longer ;)

Expensive vs Alternative

TGIAF!
(Thank God It's Almost Friday)
It's about 11:21pm, so I figure it's fair to say :]
Hope everyone had a wonderful week - what are your weekend plans?

Lately I've been trying a lot of new products, some expensive, some cheaper!

Gel Liners:Coastal Scents Gel Liner (True Black) - $6.95

Pros:
*Cheap
*Buildable
*Potent
*Lots of colours

Cons:
*Dries out quickly
*Leaves fallout
*Clumps
*Smudges

MAC Fluidline (BlackTrack) - $15.00
Pros:
*Buildable
*Potent
*Smooth
*Waterproof/smudgeproof
*Doesn't dry out

Cons:
*Expensive
*Not many colours

Overall:
If you have never tried a Gel liner before and are considering buying one without knowing for sure if you like it, or if you are going to use a lot in a small amount of time - go for the Coastal Scents gel liner. (Just make sure to apply some pressed powder eye shadow over top to help set it in place!)
But if you are an avid gel liner user like myself, I would definitely invest in a MAC Fluidline. I can't believe the difference between the formulas - I fell in love with this product from day 1! It stays nicely all day, and goes on so smoothly. It's almost like ink!

Personally, I recommend the MAC Fluidline for everyday use.

Forever21 Haul!

Sorry for the bad photo quality - the only camera I have is on my phone :)

Gold Knot Necklace - Reg. $6.80

Gold/Mint Earrings - Reg. $3.80

Skinny Braided Waist Belt (brown) - Reg. $4.80

Cream Bird Scarf (To match my new tattoo!) - Reg. $10.80

Printed Jumpsuit - Reg $23.80
(I have an abnormally long torso, so this actually works perfectly as a shirt for me! So I will be asking my Mom if she can take out the shorts underneath!)

Olive Tunic - Reg. $10.80

So all together, my total should have been roughly $65 Canadian.... but they had a sale today, so I got all of this for less than $40!

Hello, loves!

Hello everyone. I think I am finally ready to come back again! After a really rough past 2 months or so, I think I'm ready to move on from my funk and get back to normal life again.

Hope everyone has been well! :)

Today, I am going to share one of my biggest loves!
Anything with... silhouetted birds!

Bird Necklace - Via Ruche

Bird Scarf - Via Ruche

Bird Wallet - Found this on google, from Amy Kenny

And finally, my new tattoo!

I always migrate towards pieces with silhouetted birds - almost could call it a "signature" I guess!

What's your "signature"?
